toothache

I am 27 weeks pregnant and have a horrible toothache what can I do or take for it? And are antibiotics okay?

Hi Natalie, I was crying with toothache last week and thought I would have to get it out! Best advice is to scrub it with a good toothpaste at least 3 times a day and also a good mouthwash. Your gums might be sore but scrub anyway every single time you eat.  3 days later my teeth are perfect + lovely and white to boot :-D I know it sounds too easy but trust me it may work. I too am 27 weeks but I think it is a symptom of pregnancy to get teeth problems. Try it x

i was just reading up on the same thing looks like the only thing we can take is tylenol ... There is a list of NO's Aspirin, acetametaphin, naproxan, advil, motrin im guessing anything with aspirin in it , also it can lead to gesstational diabetes and no codeine either

some antibiotics are ok. tylenol is ok too, you xan see your dentist as well just let them know your pregnant
