so my head was hurting really bad at work and i didnt have my medicine so my friend gave me a tylenol.. well i started to feel weird and she realized she gave me a vicodin!! im almost 33 weeks my question is will that show up when my baby is born like will they take him or question me about it?!?! im freaking out..

They prescribed me vicodin when I was 10 weeks, never took it, but if my ob prescribed it, it can't be bad.

And its definitely not Tylenol. Its hydrocodone. Tylenol is plain old acetaminophen. And seeing as the question was "will my drs find out" rather then did I hurt my baby.. That says alot.

You and baby will be fine, just let doc know. A vicodin isn't going to show up on babys drug test. 1000mg Tylenol with 50mg benadryl and a cup of coffee works great for headaches and is pregnancy safe, fyi :)

That was rude of you. Debrahs comment is completely justified. You ask for peoples advice. And its given.  You should know that all over the counter medicine says the brand right on it.

A friend of mine is perscribed those and she's pregnant. Shame on your friend for giving you that. But also no offence but I wouldn't take pills from someone unless you see the bottle first

I got migraines and that's what ny doc prescribed when tyelon wouldn't work. Should be ok. :)

I take 500mg vicotin three times a day for my back right now and I'm 35 weeks. I'm 4 10 and weigh 157. You should be Fine. Please be careful what you take. Lol and if he gave you a RX pill she can get in trouble. It illegal to share prescrip meds :)

It's not super Tylenol either just so u know. It is a narcotic. Not Tylenol extra strength. Just things I know. I'm not being rude

The hospital have me that. Its basically suped up Tylenol

I would call your doc ASAP. I don't know the effects but call now and ask
