what does it mean is your uterus is stretching

I went to the ER this afternoon because i was having alot of pain in my stomach area for the past week well when the doc came in he was pushing where my uterus is at and it was painful..Well he checked me blood,pap,pee test well everything came good but my pregancy (blood and pee) test came back negative..He told me that it might be to early to take one but he thinks im prego and my uterus is stretching..What do that mean when he said that?

If your blood test came back negative, it won't be a pregnancy that is causing your uterus to stretch.  Maybe the doctor said it is *preparing* for a pregnancy.  But it's not possible to fool a blood test.

oh ok..so thats why i been having these sharp pain..

If you're pregnant and your uterus is stretching.. that means its preparing to carry  a baby. You couldn't possibly fit a full term baby in your uterus right now..  it has a lot of growing to do. Which would be your uterus stretching.
