If the dentist says it looks done I would just get it pulled..... If its loose and u try to save it, down the road u might end up having to get it pulled anyways.

I've had a back tooth out for years. I remember being super nervous about missing a tooth (thiking I'd look hillbilly -ish ) but I forget It's missing most the time and NO ONE notices. Get it taken care of so the infection doesn't spread. Good luck.

Get it out...abscess can lead to bad infection and that could be harmful to ur baby...I had my back to pulled 2 weeks ago its kind of weird having a missing tooth but better safe than sorry

If it's in n the back just pull it. It's cheaper and less painful. I have one that I have to get pulled after baby arrives

Coming from someone with bad teeth, it depends on how far along you are. Get it taken care of before it affects the baby.

Unfortunately that decision is mostly what you can do financially. Sounds like a root canal and crown to save it. It also sounds like the dentist thought with treatment it might not last, if I understood that correctly. If the tooth doesn't have a good prognosis, then get it out. There are options when you are ready to replace that tooth like a bridge or implant (both a bit spendy). If you can though, I would save it. It is usually cheaper for a root canal and crown than the options above. Plus, nothing compares to your natural teeth. What a hard thing to go through right now for you. Especially when you are already spend in big bucks on doctor bills and getting ready for a little one. Good luck!
