1st Dr. visit

When should I schedule my first doctors visit? I'm 5weeks 5days today.

Also, I've been taking my prenatals but today skipped on taking it (probably will take them before bed) I noticed that I wasn't as sick today *I've been sick all day everyday for 2 weeks now* Do the prenatals have anything to do with the sickness? And do you ladies recommend chewy tablets, do they have the same benefits as regular Prenatals

They'll want to see you somewhere around 8w depending on when they can get you in.  I called yesterday and they had to check three different offices before they found one opening with my midwife I've been with for years.  Definitely call as soon as you can.

I would call your doctor as soon as possible to have them schedule you an appointment.  Sometimes it can take a month to get in.

I swear by the prenatal gummy's. The iron is harsh on your stomach and I couldnt take the regular ones... with my first pregnancy, before gummy's were made, my doctor said to take the Flintstones children vitamins

I was going to reply to your post about constipation,  I heard that folic acid causes constipation but not sure if that's 100% true. I take prenatals from Costco and they regulated my bowl movement. I go 3x a day unlike before where I used to have a movement every 2-3 days.

Prenatals definitely contribute to sickness because of the iron. Try folic acid alone if it's too much to bear.
