I run an in home daycare and I charge a flat rate for a specific about of hours and days per week. I will watch children up until a few days before my csection. But if you are extremely fatigued then if course you don't want the extra responsibility so you can take naps when you want to rest. I've got 2 kids of my own at home so I have to be up anyways watching them which is why I continued babysitting so late in pregnancy. I'm 37 weeks now. Also my rate is just for extra money for my household so I charge 100 a week for up to 40 hours max 5 days.
I pay $30/day for in home day care.. seems reasonable. Id say stop watching around 39 weeks.
I had to stop watching my 2 mo nephew because of the threat of labor. I feel it's unsafe if I start getting real contractions, plus I wouldn't be able to take him to the hospital with me.
Probably $8 an hr. You want to be cheaper than a daycare bc a daycare has so much to offer. But they usually do daily rates. I woukd stop when yoh feel comfortable not to be. Or just have a plan set for incase you go into labor abd what you are going to do with the 10 month old
