The chances of baby pooping in the womb from castor oil are small and its from getting too dehydrated not from the oil passing to the baby. So stay hydrated.

Be careful though. Castor oil might make the baby release the meconium in the womb. If the swallow it they usually have to spend some time in the nicu

I haven't but have done lots of research and have asked doctors. Make sure to stay hydrated, near a toilet, and don't take a big dose. And remember if you aren't ready or full term you may just get the runs. I'll be 39+2 when I get my membranes stripped after that I'm going to go on a long walk come home take a warm bath then castor oil it up haha.

Are you dialating And thinning? If not you will just get diarrhea. If you are getting close then it should work.. it works by causing spasms in your digestive tract and the spasms irritate the uterus causing contractions. If you are ready the contractions will help you dilate more and go into full blown labor. But keep in mind that you can not start labor if you are not ready by taking castor oil.

Dont do it.  All it will do is make you feel worse and have you sitting on the toilet for days!
