I am having my GDS on Tuesday and I have to fast 2 hours before.
I eat pretty healthy and hope it will be fine. I've been really dizzy lately and so my obgyn is sending me to test.

I failed my 1hr but passed my 3hr. The thing with me was I ate the day of my 1hr BC my Dr said I could long as it was healthy and my appt was in the afternoon. My 3hr I had to fast and took it first thing in the morning. I think it has to do with the way your body breaks down the sugar. I have been eating whatever I wanted. My Dr said if you eat the day off no sugary foods such as oj and bananas pancakes with syrup etc etc. I had water bacon and eggs and failed lol. Hopefully everything will go well with you. Good luck and blessings

You don't have to fast. And you shouldn't be eating that unhealthy pregnant or not so yea I mean it's definitely going to increase your chances of developing gestational diabetes. Which is bad for you and baby. Ive never fasted for a glucose test and always pass mine by like 30 points before what you need to pass. Just friends on the Person what your sugar normally runs which for your sounds like prly higher bc you don't eat healthy. So id suggest changing your eating habits before it's too late. Plus all the crap isn't good for the developing baby either.
