HELP! Advised to take methotrexate, but not 100% sure it's ectopic!!

Hi everyone, I am living my worst nightmare.  I didn't know I could hurt so much! :( I should be 6 weeks along on Tuesday, but my counts have not gone up.  Last Monday I was 532, then Wednesday only 830, then Friday 1032.  I have had bleeding since my pregnancy began and severe cramping over Memorial Day weekend, but no pain now.  My OBGYN thinks I have an ectopic, but since my counts are so low, we can't see anything on ultrasound.  She advised me to have a methotrexate injection to end the pregnancy, but I won't do that unless I know 100% that it is ectopic.  I know I am risking rupture and surgery, but I need to know for sure before I consider something like that.  Any advice??  I am hoping that when I go in for lab and an ultrasound on Monday that miraculously I will have a little baby with heartbeat in there... I know that's wishful thinking!  Otherwise, I wish that I would just miscarry if this is not meant to be.  I am devastated and terrified, but somehow hopeful...  has anyone had something like this turn around and end up ok????

I went through almost the same thing the only difference is my levels were progressing normally... I was very early when I starting having diarrhea and really bad cramps that lasted a few days.. I didnt have bleeding at that point. . I went to the doctor to make sure my cramps weren't anything serious. the ultrasound lady said she didnt see anything in the uterus but a mass on my right ovary... I ended up meeting my ob at the ER but she decided to wait before doing surgery to make sure...once my levels were steadily going up she called to say she didnt have any concerns..a few weeks later I started spotting brown..went in for ultrasound and saw baby in uterus...
