I live in jersey and 2 of my sisters live in New York and 2 of my brothers live in Pennsylvania, so my sisters are with one of my brothers in his house, they're having a bbq and drinking and everything, and I couldn't go because I'm pregnant and my husband had to work today and I'm alone in my house eating ice cream and nd watching the cooking channel :(((

I'm the opposite today.  Bf want to go BBQ at his friends today and I don't know how to say no bc he sounds so excited. I really just want to be a couch potato at home today and some peace and quiet. Don't be sad you need this rest and alone time right now , we all do.

Don't let it get to you, my husband worked almost a 24 HR shift due to memorial day weekend. He is part of the regional DUI task force so he basically pulls ppl over when he suspects they are drunk. He came home and said he was tired, we had plans of grilling but it's all out the window, he is too tired and every time I invite people we get stood up. So it will be a quiet Monday for us. And I honestly wouldn't want it Any other way. I'm used to doing memorial weekend in Vegas with 6 of my girl friends, I didn't get an invite this year, probably because I'm already 37 weeks. I wouldn't have gone either. At this point in life, i crave quietness, comfort and food. So I'm thinking of cooking for my hubby, having some virgin drinks and relaxing with a movie. While he rubs the belly and talks to nameless baby boy. Lol hopefully we get to pick his name out soon. Make the best out of it. It's your only memorial weekend pregnant who cares what others do. You are feeling this emotional because of our darn hormones,  lol. Make the best of it with what you have, not what could have been.

Me and my husband had a fight Last night, he said I'm arguing too much with him so he slept on the couch and I can't sleep without him next to me, so I have a headache, I'm bored, I don't know what to eat, and my sisters don't even answer my texts, I don't wanna seem desperate so that's why I only text them once

I'm in same boat. My husband is working and my kids actually were required to be at school today. Everyone is out having fun but us and it stinks.. just saying...

So do what I decided to do.... I'm having a potluck.... Everyone and their cousins are invited... Alot of times I feel left out too I don't have much family left and the ones that are live so far.... Surround yourself ..... It's stressful trying to organize it and to figure out how much your going to need... Me and my husband are going to grill.... And have people bring condiments and buns and paperplates... Have them bring their kids.... Do it at a local park that allows grilling.... That way you have no need to entertain.... I can't wait to do this and see who shows up.... If you can't go to the fun bring it to you.... Good luck mama

Don't worry there is a lot of us stuck at home today with everyone else having fun! Just think this holiday next yr we will have our baby and be able to join the fun! Idk about the weather there but here In Houston it's raining and dark outside rite now! Don't feel bad!
