Lump under armpit? Breastfeeding ?

Hi ladies, I'm back. I had my daughter 8 days ago. I was gonna breast feed her till I broke my tailbone during delivery and had to take a bunch of Meds. Well I was allergic to one of the Meds and quit taking all 3 Wednesday.
Anyways, Thursday night I pumped 2oz (from both breast) for the first time.
Saturday night I noticed a lump under my left armpit, like size of a quarter. Did anyone else ever get this? Is it normal?
And also, I've been barely pumping an ounce. How can I increase my supply of milk? I really don't like my daughter being on formula.

It might be a clogged tear duct make sure you tell your doctor about it. It sounds like you are doing good with milk. I am around 3 oz and iI have been ffeeding and pumping but keep up the pumping and you should be fine.  Anither thing if you can't feed your baby my doctor said as long as she is close like on your stomach it helps with your milk supply. It's so neat how our body works.

I had this problem.... it's a clogged milk duct... with my first one it turned into mastitis. That ***** big time. Massage it regularly with a hot cloth and when you shower. I couldn't pump either my milk supply decreased when I pumped.

Thanks ladies for the replies! I was getting scared cause I didn't know what it was.
And my boobs were huge Thursday, but as soon as I pumped they shrunk and I've been barely getting an ounce of milk. So I was worried about that too

Ouch, I remember getting a cloggef milk duct there my last pregnancy.  I bought these pads that you can insert into your bra, or shove under your arms in this case that helped. These were filled with little gel balls and you either could heat them up or chill them. They saved me in the beginning. Warm compresses are always the best with a gentle massage. They are wonderful if you ever develop mastisis someday too, another big ouch.

To increase your supply (I did it with my 2 and BF for a year with each) I would pump one side until the pump wouldnt pump anymore out, then I would hand express until I couldn't get anything else out. Then I would do the same on the other side. In about 3 weeks I went from 2oz on each side to a full 10oz on each side. I was able to feed her until she was full then pump bottles to freeze.
