McKenzie as a girl's name?

We've been changing our minds(well more the other half) about what to call our daughter. It's gone from Alecia Skye to Kourtnii Lillie-Grace to now McKenzie Lillie-Grace.

We're in the UK and I've only heard McKenzie be used once...as a boys name (someone out the Blazin-Squad I think. This was a teenage rap group that produced one decent song lol). My bf just googled it & it's number 50 something in America.

Is this name popular in America? I love American names like Keisha, Kinsey, Harlie-Jo (these are names I know of people who live in America) but I've never heard of them over here.

I actually suggested Kenzie (like Kenzie from NCIS:LA). Now a Mc has been added lol. I think the other half is really liking McKenzie...

I love McKenzie as a girl name...im bias thougj because that is my daughters name and she is 8. McKenzie is rarely used as a boy name now.

Mckenzie was one of the names we had picked out for unisex since we originally weren't sure about finding out the gender but I think it's a beautiful name for boy or girl!
