Sry, was wrong! 4 cm is actually starting of active labor but I'm not contracting so I'd rather be home and go through the 4-7 cm and then be at the hospital...
4 cm is not active labor... I don't want to be in the hospital and progress anyway..
Mine were 8 lbs 12oz and 8 lbs 9 oz respectively. Had them both vaginally. We'll see how big this new bean gets when the time comes:) Good luck mama, you'll do great!
4cm and they didnt admit you to the hospital? Thats what my doctor does.
Not all women are built for birth...thats why there is such things as csections.
Thx ladies!! Had doctors appt, I'm 4 c m dilated, had membrane swept again. I'm scheduled to be induced on Thursday July 31 ...so excited!! :-)
9lbs 03 oz, and 2 foot long at birth. No c-section. Just prayers and patience, and waited till 8cm dilated before epidural
I delivered a 10 lb 3 oz baby vaginally with no tearing or episiotomy. It was pretty rough, I won't lie lol it took 4 1/2 hours of straight pushing to get him out because I'm not a big person and they didn't know he was going to be so big! The day I went into labor I had an ultrasound and they said he was going to be 8 lbs. so they were way off! But I'm glad I was able to do it. I didn't want a c section. And he looked like a two month old baby from day 1! He was so cute and chunky!! Forget newborn clothes and diapers tho. He went straight to 3-6 months clothes!
I did. With my 2nd she was 9lbs 4oz. I did it naturally and was induced. No pain meds and delivered vaginally.
It's not really the size of the baby that matters, it's all up to your body. .. Some women can push out a 10lb baby no problem, and others will have an issue pushing out an 8lb baby... plus the ultra sounds aren't as accurate as you think, my daughter was watched from 6 months on...I had one every 2 weeks because she was supposedly under weight and was gonna be lucky to hit 6lbs when born, but she came out a very healthy 7lbs 9oz and felt like a ton of bricks lol.... Don't worry about the baby's size unless it had to do with their health.... I'm sure you will be fine no matter what size! Good luck
I gave birth to our son on the 9th and he weighed 8 pounds 15 ounces and 20 inches long. I had to be induced a week before my DD due to medical reasons. This is our first. My labor lasted 13 hours and 24 mins and I pushed for 2.5 hours and they had to use a vacuum on my son, but every single bit of it was all worth it!! Good luck and best wishes!
My son was 8lbs.8oz I had him natural without any pain meds. Honestly the actual labor was not that bad but the dr had to use forceps and he did get stuck as well as he broke his collarbone. With this baby my dr expects it to be bigger.Because of my last delivery issues we are going with a scheduled csection.
Big haha mine started at 8.6 and the last one was 9.15 born back to back and I had no pain no stitches no midwives!she was born in the bath so I'd recommend a water birth x
My first was 10lbs 3oz :) he was delivered by emercency csec though
Measurements arnt always accurate. .they told me mine was 7.6 but he was 6.11 when born. Don't stress youll be fine! I had an epideral he came really fast I tore and that has been the worst part and even still its not that bad...as long as your baby is safe u won't care about anything else. And if your baby is too big for u they'll do a c section I kno someone who had one w both her boys and she recovered fast and was fine. Goodluck and dont be scared!
My baby was 8lbs11oz and 21 1/2 inches long. She was taller than an average baby so she grows out of clothes fast. I had to buy more clothing for her because I didn't think to get bigger clothes until she grew more. My mistake
My first was 10lbs06oz and second was 8lbs11oz
My first was 8.8lbs no big deal he came out easy.
Dont stress it mama otherwise you wont be able to do it because of anxiety. Plus I hear those measurments arent always correct. Just focus on what your littlenone is going to look like and holding them and loving on them not the size. You can do it!
Yes my first was 9lb1 and I delivered vaginally. Honestly its not the weight that hurts its the head circumference. Once the head is out the rest just slides on out lol.
I'm terrified this bub is gonna be bigger but big babies run in hubbies side of the family, his sister had two kids vaginally, both were 10lb2.
Your body is built to birth!
My first daughter was 9.6lbs and I delivered her at 38.3wks! So u can do it!
