Opinion. . Should I use both?

I live in upstate NY... the weather this time of year is cold.. 0-35 degrees, windy, snowy always changing.... I have an infant snow suit and a bundle me that goes over the car seat. Do you think I should use both or just one or the other?

I live in ct and use both. When we get in the car I open it up so my daughter can breath.

i'm in canada, even more up north and we use the bundle me with mittens and a hat and blanket on top to get from the car to house.
if you use both you'll just end up with a really hot angry baby in the back seat. babies are naturally very well insulated and don't require as many layers are adults do. if you are wary you can always try it and see how it works. if baby is sweaty when you pick them up then perhaps lose a layer or two and try again.

I'm in Michigan, a bundle me was perfect for my son. Loved the fact that if we were going to church or longer car rides, by the time we got there he wasn't sweaty because you can unzip the sides for the car ride vs, being stuck.in a snow suit. Good luck with your decision. :-)

Ahhh, another upstate NY person!  I'm in Kirkville on a farm...with out daughter we used a heavy a heavy snow suit.. I think covering the carseat w/ a light blanket when leaving and going to the car would be adequate.. just to keep the wind off of the baby! Overheating can occur w/ too many layers

I live in Michigan and I used a carseat cover and then wrapped my babies in blankets and they were plenty warm
