SCH! :/ at 12 weeks

Hey all so I am 12 weeks and 4 days pregnant, went to the emergency room today since I started bleeding during sex (sorry if tmi) and was diagnosed with a small subchorionic bleed!I've had multiple episodes of spotting throughout his preg. And last week even had a blood clot come out. However Baby measured fine, hcg levels have gone up from last week and the baby's heart rate was at 178! :) should I worry or am I just freaking out for no reason?

Your blood volume increases drastically when you get pregnant. Your cervix is also adjusting to all the hormone changes and may be more sensitive, not to mention sex causes blood to rush to your pelvis and with the increased amount of blood in your body it makes sense that sex can cause spotting. Its nothing to be worried about unless there is a large amount of blood. Its quite common to spot after sex in the early months.

Usually they put u on pelvic rest when u have this i had it when i was 8wks and my ob put me on pelvic rest which means no bending down no lifting and no sex til 15wks when threatened miscarriage is low, i only spotted one n it was very very light but i was still on pelvic rest for the sake of my baby
