When can I found out the gender?

I am 13 weeks pregnant and this is my 2nd pregnancy.  With my daughter I was 16 weeks when I found out the sex. This time around they want to wait until I am 20 weeks. I am a planner and want to find out ASAP so that I can start getting the nursery ready. How many weeks were you when you found out the sex?

Thank you for your replies.  I'm going to have to look for a place that will do it even if I pay out of pocket.

Has anyone heard of the ring on a string test? U tie a ring on a string and have someone hold it still above ur belly. If it goes in a circle its a girl. If it goes back and forth its a boy. I've tried this a couple times on friends and it was right. Its worth a shot and fun to see if it works :)

I think it depends. Anatomy scan is usually about half way thru your pregnancy and is used to determine how your baby is growing not to determine the sex. But you can find out at this time because your far enough along.
