Where is the Finish Line?????

Hello mommies!!
FTM of baby girl...i have 8days left... & i will be 39w tomorrow... My last appt 7/22 I was 3cm dilated...since then I've lost my mucus plug and been walking. Im so anxious for labor to start although I've heard the painful stories. I'm ready to hold my baby girl in my arms :-) I'm wondering when will she ever come?? What do u all think?? What can I do to hurry things along??

I have 3 days left I'm only 1cm dilated and 40% effaced which there was no change between last week or week before. I've done everything too but guess she's just comfy in there. I really hope I've dilated more at my appt this week.

Love your title lol. I've been looking for this finish line for days now and so far nothing. I've tried walking , spicy foods, nipple stimulation, sex, and so far nothing! I'm in the same boat. Dilated to a 3 lost my mucous plug and am 38 weeks. I hope its any time now for both of us!! Good luck

You can do nipple stimulation, I also hear raspberry leaf tea works, hot baths, of course walking, sex, my friend did a self-examination to see how far she dilated, and it sent her straight to labor and delivery. I also here foot massages work. Try them all lol hopefully it will get something going. Good luck mama!
