bf not coming to the shower ,last min rain check !!!!!

So my on & off bf arent on good terms righr now ,but he sent me a text saying he wont be a the baby shower b/c he is taking his dad who is locked up money & clothes & things he needs b/c he'll be leaving soon ;THE SHOWER IS TOMORROW ! & he is just telling me ,maybe it was last min ,but i dont know if i should be mad or not b/c its a ubderstandable situation but why cant he wait for another day

Actually he came & didnt go to see his dad ,i didnt expect him to choose coming to tge shower over seeing his dad

Yea ,but he end up coming to the shower after all ,i just posted a post where the vibe felt faked & that really had me depressed ,ive already been stressing & when i do i dont eat & since ive been stressing ive lost 3pounds which is bad in my eyes

Also I just spoke to my husband who served some time and he told me if the prison doesn't have the clothes a month before your released you can't wear it out.  But he said you can mail them too. Just thought that might help the situation.

I'm sure it has something to do with visiting times at the prison?  I think it's awesome you guys have your hubbys there! That's cool! Back to topic I would be mad too because why does he have to do it the day of the shower. ? My husband would laugh at me if I invited him! He would go if I made him but I'd never hear the end of it! Hahaha plus I enjoy my girl time! My husband usually does something with his guy friends if he's not working.

I agree. Showers aren't just for ladies anymore. Especially nowadays where men are allowed in the delivery room and participate more with the whole process. All the showers I've been to in the last 2 years have been mommy and daddy and all their friends. Mine was hubby and I too. I probably would be upset if he didn't come. Can he go real early, get stuff and then come?

Why can't he go to the shower and then just go see his dad after?   It's not like a shower lasts all day!  And if his friends are going to be there then he should be there

I don't believe baby showers are only for the ladies. We are pregnant so it's our baby shower. Yes the father should be there! I would be beyond pissed but if you accept the excuse than so be it.

I would be hurt if he canceled and had sad he was coming but I'm a big ole meanie and sad mine wasn't allowed to come lol

Baby showers are typically for the ladies. My husband wasn't invited to my last and won't be on this one that would be just torture for him!

His dad is leaving jail soon so they getting him what he needs, plus it's the only day he can go so he is going ,i just found out its the only day he can go @skittles_2_1_15
