My breast are growing really fast, I was wondering if they become smaller after you have the baby?

I was a 36c before bfing my first. Went to a d by the time I weaned her. Stayed there till I got prego with number 2. Went to a dd during pregnancy. Was and stayed a DDD while nursing. Stayed a DDD this pregnancy so far, I'm 36+4 and hope they won't grow anymore! And am also planning on bfing this baby so I shall see.

I was a ddd and have breastfed twice. never had an issue with breasts growing or shrinking, just normal engorgement between feedings. I have a friend whose breasts went from an a pre pregnancy, a b while breastfeeding, and are actually smaller now (she calls them a negative a lol). my sister was an f pre pregnancy, a g while breastfeeding, and are back now. it all depends on the person, but if you're already growing, I would anticipate more while you breastfeed

I was an 34A or maybe barely a B when I got pregnant with my first son. I've been a 36C ever since.

I was a 34B before my son was born, when my milk came in they grew to 36E overnight but after two years of nursing they're a 36C now, not quite as perky as they used to be but with good support they look fabulous. I used them for their intended purpose and will do it again with this baby - if they look a little tired afterward that's okay with me, my partner loves my body and is proud of how I nourish and protect our children.

I was a C cup and I'm 31 weeks now and I'm a DD. I'm sure after the baby comes and I breastfeed they will be DDD at least. With my first I was a B and went up to a D during pregnancy. I only breastfed for 3 months and then they shrank down to an A :( and they didn't sag but they were deflated kinda. I got implants when my son turned 5, hence me starting at a C this time. Usually I think they do shrink or sag. Some people are lucky and they stay the same but I think that's rare

I started out as a DD and at 39 weeks I am wearing a 36 H. Once my milk comes in after birth, I may hire them a chauffeur. This is getting out of hand, haha.

Wow, @kiearai thanks for sharing your story I hope you don't become like that too lol. But I was just curious because I was always on the smaller side 34b and now I am almost a  C cup. That's just seemed a little big to me.

That sounds like me. I'm only 5'3 and pre-pregnancy weigh roughly 110lbs. I'm upto 123lbs now at 25w. Most of that weight is probably my boobs

I think partly it depends on genes and partly on how you wean while breastfeeding and how long you bf. my mom did cold turkey weaning with each of hers and didn't bf past 1 year. Her boobs went down a cup. Mine on the other hand went back to the same D cup (though not as perky) but I bf for 2 years and did a super slow wean for the last year. It took about a few months after our last feed for mine to return to normal size (they actually shrank down at the end of breastfeeding and then rebounded). For some people it can take even longer for them to return to normal size (I've read up to a year post breastfeeding). Breasts are an intricate body part haha!

Sometimes they don't go back down. My mom's just kept growing with each kid. She got up to a K which actually broke her back so she had to get a rod put in and a breast reduction down to a C. After her third kid she was back up to a G and got a reduction again. She got her tubes tied then but turned out she had 3 tubes and ovaries. They didn't tie the other bc they thought it wouldn't produce. She ended up having two more kids and is at an F now. They finally stopped growing. Before she started having kids she was a D.
I started at a D and at 25 wks am up to an F now. I really hope my body doesn't do me like my mom's.  @.@

Mine stayed the same size after breastfeeding and didnt really sag but werent like they were before either. Granted I did go from being inbetween a B and C cup to a flat out D. Now this time around I am up to a DD.
