The only proven way to bring on labour is nipple stimulation and sex.

I normally do 2 tables spoons and three hours later I will do another 2 tAble spoons. If the does not work you can increase the amount and decrease the time between. The two table spoons and then a second does normally will do the trick and it is a small enough dose to avoid or minimize the diarrhea and nausea. Good luck.

I have taken it with all five pregnancies never had any bad side effects. I am a nurse and have always been told that there is nothing wrong with taking it, the worst that will happen is it not work and cause some diarrhea and maybe vomiting. Some take too much or are very sensitive to it and it makes them sick to their stomach or gives diarrhea. Taken correctly it should cause only a good easy bowel movement which a pregnant woman should appreciate.

My first it worked great easy bowel movement and labor.
Second I took a little just to clean me out before induction. It worked to get me moving.
Third I was showing no signs of labor and the induction date was getting closer, I took it just to see if I would get lucky but no such luck. I did how ever get rid of the horrid constipation I had.
Fourth I knew it would not work because no labor signs but I did take a little to get me going again after suffering with constipation for months.
My last one I was showing signs of labor but it was not progressing to full labor so I took enough to start labor, it worked great and labor went fine.

Good luck and I hope it works for you.
