contractions?

What do they feel like? I've been having cramping. Kind of like a period cramp but they aren't that painful. I'm 39+2

Thanks ladies. They come and go and aren't consistant so I think I'm gonna wait as my hospital is 30-45 mins away and I don't want to be turned away lol

Could be beginning of labor but cramping is normal outside of being in labor I have cramps all the time Dr said braxton hicks and uterus growing ill be 35 weeks Friday. As long as you have no spotting  bleeding or fluid loss my doctor said np :-) of course if they become painful and start to be able to time them and become more like contractions then time for an hr if 3-5 mins apart go to l&d :-) but if they are coming and going then most likely false labor. Good luck dear :-)

This is my first and I haven't been timing them. They aren't painful just uncomfortable. I will have to time them when it comes again.
