mucus plug

So this morning around 10:30, I belive I lost my mucus plug (bloody show).  And since than I have been having a constant back and abdominal cramps. I cant time them because its just a constant pain like a menstral pain. I have read that after someone loses the mucus plug it could be anywhere from hours to weeks before baby comes. I guess im hoping for the hours for me.  Has anybody experience this in the previous pregnancies?

It may look like a bugger, With a tint of blood. Minds have been coming in pieces since yesterday.  I have been having menstrual cramps since yesterday and so much pressure down there and its getting impossible to walk.  I just came out from the fetal growth ultrasound and was told that my baby is weighing in at 7 pounds.

I just turn 37 weeks. Tomarrow  morning I go in for a fetal growth ultrasound because i have been measuring 2 weeks bigger since week 31. This is my third pregnancy. With my first I lost the mucus plug when my water broke in the hospital and with my second I was induced at 41 weeks never got to see the plug.

How far are you may I ask? I would call your Dr. Or go get checked at the er. I lost my plug at 30.5 weeks with my 1st pregancy and at 31.0 weeks had the worst cramps like my period and I was in labor and had to have it stop.

I actually lost my mucus plug at 26 weeks, (35 &3 weeks now, and it must have regenerated itself because I'm losing it bit by bit again). I lost my "bloody show" back at 26 weeks though, and it resulted in preterm labor they were able to stop. I'd contact your doctor just to let them know about your changes and things you've noticed just to let them know where you stand with progress, and to see if they'd like you to be examined. (Some women have contractions that are no more than period type cramps at least in the early stage of labor). Just give them a call, they'll let you know what they'd like you to do, and let you know what's going on. Good luck!
