Im only 30weeks and im pretty sure some of my mucus plug just came out. How long after that do you go into labor? Anyone ever experienced this? This is my third child but ive never had this happen...

I've been losing globs of mucus for a week as long as your not having any contractions or any kind of pain or cramps it is fine. My doctor told me it's just cervical mucus coming loose and can keep replacing itself. Even once you loose your plug or have bloody show it can be weeks before you go into labor. My doctor told me with each pregnancy not only do we tend to experience new things but also earlier. I would let your doctor know about the mucus you lost and see what they would like you to do though. They may want to check you just in case.

It can replenish itself if it has blood in it I would definitely get ahold of the doc though
