Has anyone else lost thier appetite in thier 3rd trimester ? I have those days where I wanna eat everything in sight but most days I dont wanna eat at all. If it was jus me I wouldn't eat til I get hungry but since I got a growing baby I force myself to eat jus so she wont starve. Anybody else in the same boat ?

Congratulations on the home stretch.  I'm also in my 3rd trimester with little appetite. My doctor said u only need 300-500 extra calories a day for ur baby even in ur 3rd trimeater. That can come from a couple of glasses of juice. And if you aren't hungry ur baby is not starving they don't feel hunger the same way we do. And trust me, the baby will take what it needs from u. Whether it be from nutrients u have stored or every nutrient ur eating the baby will get what it needs ESPECIALLY if ur on prenatals. My doc said the most important thing to remember when u have a small appetite is to make what you do eat count. Dont make them empty calories. And the one thing you can't skirt on is your water intake no matter what.

I glad I'm not the only one. I'm in my third trimester and I feel as if I completely lost my appetite.  Just like everyone else I force myself to eat. Don't want my baby to starve.

Yes your stomach actually gets squished as your ute gets bigger so you have less capacity. I'm lucky to eat one full meal a day at 39w3d.

Totally happened to me. One day I suddenly realized at like 1pm that I hadn't eaten anything and I hadn't even noticed. It's weird because the body does need food even if the stomach's not growling. Hard to keep up with!

I have been that way 3rd trimester. I feel uncomfortable if I eat meals so I end up snacking. Last night for dinner I had a small smoothie and a piece of cheese and I was full.

I've even like that all pregnancy. I just force myself to eat when I know I need to.
