Hi, I am 4 weeks pregnant and use a cross trainer to exercise. I just want to know how much exercise on a cross trainer per day would be too much. I want to be fit and healthy during.this pregnancy but i don't want to over do it and risk a miscarriage!!
I would consult your dr but exercise during preg is great! Just dont do more then you did before. They do say not to get over heated though. Staying active during preg is the best thing you can do for yourself! You feel great throughout preg and it helps during delivery also.
Im no Dr but i have always heard if you were doing it before then it should be ok i would slow it down though and not be lifting heavy things Dr told me not to lift over 20lbs if possible. I would recommend talking to your Dr about what would be ok. Goodluck!
I'd check with your Dr. As long as you were exercisijg before you got pregnant youre generally ok, but you can't get too hot / get your blood pressure too high etc. I walk 3 miles every day with the dog and I've continued doing that throughout my whole pregnancy, although it does take me longer to go round now as I get tired (I'm 37w tomorrow) x
