sharp pain down below

I'm 16w3d and a ftm. The past week I have experienced sharp pain in my vagina (sorry tmi) like a jolt of pain that went away a few seconds after.  It was kind of weird but no other symptoms such as bleeding, severe abdominal pain etc.

I've also experienced occasional pains in my lower abdomen when I change positions lying down or relaxing etc. Is this something to be concerned about? My next doc appointment is in three weeks. I don't want to appear every little ache and pain is something to consult her about.  Have any of you experienced something similar? Shod I go to ER or doc?

I am on my third pregnancy now and have had the same pains with all of them. As you get further along it might happen more itsbusually your muscles and ligaments and everything stretchingnand moving to make room for the baby. Hope this helps. I have had pain for about 2 days on and off in the middle of my stomach .

I would call if ur doc has an answering service. At my 20week ultrasound they found my cervix was measuring short. It would be better to be safe than sorry.
