I had exactly same pain sharp pain in left side around 8 weeks and still have it now at 20 weeks. Theyve checked in my ultrasound and everything looks ok. They told me it could be down to being ligament pain, some days are worse than others.

Could also be ligament pain. Which is normal. I had that at 5 weeks also and didn't really go away still get ligament pain just not as much 25 weeks now. I was worriedd bc it can also be sign of ectopic pregnancy etc so I called my doctor office and got a same day appt to to get checked but everything was fine :-)  bc I didn't have my first actual appt till 9.+4 weeks.

I've had a pain on my left side too. I'm thinking for me it might be constipation or gas. I talked to my sister who is an L&D nurse and she said that's what it sounded like. If it doesn't go away in the next two days it might be worth calling your Dr's office. If you are taking supplements it could be affecting your digestive tract.
