the doctor checked I'm 1 cm dilated

I'm one centimeter dilated and ever since she checked me at noon I have not stopped having cramps I get them every two to five minutes they last like 20 seconds I just want them to stop already my sister said it's normal to get cramps when u get checked down there but like it's been 8 hrs and they don't stop or go down in pain

So I am contracting a lot she said but I'm still at one centimeter dilated she gave me the option of staying there and getting checked in a couple hours or going home... I decided to come home cus she said theirs no way to know I can have the baby in the next couple of hours or in a week or two so she said I can go home but to come back if they get worse (which for me I thought they were way worse) or if my water breaks or if I start bleeding I came home and their was waaaay more bloody show when I wiped hopefully she come or the contractions stop cus I can't sleep

I am on my way to labor and delivery hopefully she is on her way and not a false alarm idk how much longer I can last I'm now 38 weeks today

That sounds like your body show and it sounds like contractions to me I would go to l&d

They have gotten worse they were lasting like fifty seconds every 2 to 5 minutes I called labor and delivery they said to give it another hour and if they get worse to come in I n forced myself to sleep but woke up  a couple time w I th really strong cramps I went to the bathroom and I think I just lost.my bloody show or whatever u call it it was like mucus with blood idk now I'm counting my cramps if they are every 2-5 minutes I'm gonna go in if they are spread out longer than idk if I should go in

I was checked on Thursday and I had cramping a bit but yours sounds like contractions I would call your doctor and good luck
