I've only heard of links between autism and pitocin given to induce labor.

The benefits def out weigh the risks.. But there has been no scientific truth behind vaccines and autism.. My daughter has had all her vaccines and I didn't even worry about it.. It's up to you but I would def talk with your child's pediatrician..

Surprisingly, its the Parents that choose not yo vaccinate their children are the ones who end up with Autism. Malaria can be a leading cause, especially with the high number of illegal undocumented immigrants coming into the U.S as carriers of these diseases.  I work for ICE and we test everyone for diseases before Deporting them. The number is astounding and the illness is very Real. Vaccines helps your body to build antibodies in the event that you encounter the actual virus. Sadly enough the Rich and Famous choose not to,  but if your an average Middle Class American, I'm not sure you can afford the extremely high medical bills or Special treatment facilities to care for your child. An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure...

Fyi hep a and b are not just caused by sex! They are caused by things like ice cubes from contaminated handlers or nail clippers.. and much more. P.s autism  is not caused or linked to vaccines. If it was there would be actual medical proof! Anyone can write a website or a book make sure when your doing research you cite what your reading.. any Joe blow can call himself a doc or medical professional behind a computer screen. If vaccines were linked to autism we would know what causes autism.. but we don't! So let's leave that to the professionals that spread every waking min researching. As for this big conspiracy theory on oh needles are bad blah blah blah... let's face that facts. Very heard of small pox? Or other pandemics that wiped out thousands of ppl? Those my friends are why we have vaccines. And the reason they are now coming back and killing more children is because pig headed ppl are deciding vaccines are bad and not getting them. Look plain and simple vaccinations save many many lives.. things like chicken pox kill tons and tons of children every year because parents are deciding to take it on themselves and not vaccinate. Theseillnesses kill! And personally as a nurse I rather risk getting them for my children thennhaving my child die from not having them and spend forever blaming myself.

We will probably vaccinate our son. I have next to no immune system, there used to be a running joke that I could catch a cold from the middle of an abandoned village in Alaska from my home here in Missouri.
What I think MAY be a partial cause for the seeming causation of vaccine to autism or other problems, is that perhaps one of the common ingredients in the vaccines sets off some kind of allergic reaction or other adverse reaction in susceptible children? This is purely speculation on my part. I compare it to penicillin allergy.
Penicillin is THE go-to anti-infection medicine or what have you. It's been proven effective again and again, used all over the place, etc. Yet some people are allergic to it. Myself, deathly so.
Does this mean that most other people receiving penicillin will have fatal reactions? No, but that doesn't change the fact that there are people whose bodies react in such a way to what is known to be an effective and powerful medicine.

My sister studies these things. She says the worst part is how many they give at once so she spreads her sons out.  She did skip one or two bc it was only risky the first 6 months but now regrets bc she plans on having another and it is past the time frame her son can have the vaccine so now she has to worry if her child brings it home to her next.  To be honest no matter which way you go there are risks so talk it over with your doctor/naturopath/significant other and do what you are comfortable with otherwise you will always be questioning your decisions.

Ps. There is also Hep A. Your infant might not have sex but your teen might. My dad got it from my mom after they were married. You never know.

Like anything in life there is a risk of something else. I could not quote you exact satistics. I do know this from personal experience, my father, was not vaccinate as a kid. He got Hep. That could be perverted. Again ,it is a personal choice as a parent. I also know i got the HPV virus but not the one ccaused by STD. However ,back than there was,no vaccine. I think personally their are ones i dont vaccinate my son with like chicken poxs. Good luck !

If you are on Facebook look up a group called great mother's questioning vaccines. There is lots of information and many women who have testimonials. From my understanding it's the ingredients such as formaldehyde, mercury, and thermosal (which is found in most vaccines) that cause neurological problems. Mmr is the main vaccine that has been accused of causing autism, I've also heard the dtap as well.

On a personal note: my little boy had a horrible.  Reaction to his 15 month shots. We've decided to not vaccinate any further. I've also been researching some of the vaccines and what they are for and how the disease is contracted. A lot of those vaccines I am finding unnecessary, such as the hep b. Hep b is an STD my infant will not be engaging in sex or prostitution or sharing needles with drug addicts. So I find it completely unnecessary to have that shot. I'm still on the fence on a few others so we are researching more before we vaccinate anymore.
