You aren't alone in your feelings.  I'm 41 and am due in 35 days with a little girl who will be my 4th child.  I certainly don't remember pregnancy being so taxing on my body but then again my last pregnancy was 17 yrs ago and I had my other 3 children by the age of 25, but I have built in babysitters ;) This too shall pass and in the meantime I'm just along for this crazy ride that has such a beautiful blessing waiting for us at the end!

Nikki148, I agree with you whole heartedly. I'm 38 and #4 and they keep trying to slap high risk in my face.  I'm like if you don't hush. If I wasn't equipped to handle this God wouldn't have done it. TRUST GOD and enjoy your pregnancy!

I'm 36 and I thought I was too old too especially since I have an 11 year old.  It was rough the first trimester but the more I shared my concerns with other women the more I realized I wasn't alone.   A lot of women are waiting nowadays.  I'm excited and working on the nursery. Can't wait to welcome my baby girl in September :-)

I'm 38 and I have an 18 year old. You are not too old. My pregnancy was also unplanned, and me and the dad split up. So I just say take it as a blessing. Try to remain healthy and focus on all the positive things motherhood will bring you. I'm looking forward to holding my little prince for the first time.

There r ppl n here who r 47+ n given birth to heathy babies. Don't let a number discourage u n make u feel dw enjoy the life growing inside u!!! Doc will say u high risk but it's n gods hands eat healthy take ur vitamins n start the count dwn til ur bundle arrives lol!!! Good luck!

I'm 35 and it's my first. I worry constantly about how old he will be when I am in my 50s or 60s. My pregnancy was not planned so I'm just trying to accept it is what it is.
