at 8 weeks what do you see in an ultra sound

I had a ultrasound done yesterday where they claim that my babies heart beat is not beating they are claiming that the math does not match i said I my last period was july for that they are saying that the baby is not being developed properly. but what if I am wrong and my last period was august. and I am less than 8 weeks I need to know what to do because they want me to take the fetus out my question is if i am 4 weeks and not 8 can anything be seen in the sac can you atleast see a yolk?

I second what Quinns momma said.  Also, you need to know that there is no rush to make any decisions.  If you are uncertain of dates or unsure of what you want to do, wait and request a second ultrasound in 2 weeks.  I have been where you are and that is what I did. There is no danger to you unless you have an etopic pregnancy in which case you need to act right away.  From your post that does not sound like the case.  Good luck to you.

At 8 weeks they will be able to see the HB, baby and yolk sac.
Anything earlier than 5 weeks and usually no HB is detected but they often see the yolk sac.
