Some good news!
Well, I wanted to share my good news...my hcg levels yesterday were 9833. I was exactly six weeks yesterday. Last Wednesday they were 2500. That sounds about right, doesn't it? I'm so relieved! I mean, I don't have any reason to believe I will have a problem (other than my age)...but it's still nice to know things are moving along. Once I get to 12 weeks, I'll breathe a sigh of relief!

that's great news Tricia! Yes, you can breath easy now... your halfway done the 1st trimester! And about your age, forget it: 40 is the new 30!
As far as snow is concerned, I know how you feel; I lived in SoCal for 5 years and I found the Christmas season to be sad without the snow... and now living in Canada and getting buckets of it litterally falling on our heads! There's no perfect place I guess!

Those numbers are great!! To see a huge increase like that is so reassuring. You know you will see that beautiful heartbeat on your first ultrasound!! Congrats Tricia, and that 12 week mark will be here before you know it!!

That IS great news. Whether you have had m/c in your past or not, it is natural to worry about things. It is such a relief to see numbers like that. I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes as smoothly :)
