Does very active baby in belly mean very hyper child?

Even though I feel good knowing my boy is Ok, I am wondering if by being this active means he will be a hyper child.

Thanks for posting because I feel the same way. I'm 29 weeks pregnant and my son is active. Today he was active all day and it gets worse late nights. I don't know what it means but I look at it this way. I see people complaining about not being able to feel their baby move and are worried. Our sons are blessed! We're blessed! And hopefully when they come out they will be tired from all the moving they are doing now.

I think it can be true. No one believed me when I was pregnant Yeats ago with my 9 year old when I was telling everyone how he literally did not stop moving for days at a time. He never slept in my belly it seems like and he us extremely hyper and overactive. My other two sons were calm in my belly and are now calm kids. I'm not true in every case...but it was in mine! Hyper doesn't have to mean bad though don't worry. My 9 year is crazy but super fun :)

I am commenting on geekmom1213...I am 23 weeks pregnant with a little girl and I also have 2 other girls and 2 boys.  I called both my daughters and my little one in my tummy princess as soon as I found out I was having a little girl. Both of my daughters turned out fine and do not feel entitled at all.  O think its just a little nickname we use foe our children and nothing else.  If they turned out entitled its because the PARENTS made them that way.  Thanks

I'd avoid using a label like that as it tends to be a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Kind of like how it drives me nuts when people call their unborn baby girl a "princess" from the moment they get the gender ultrasound and then a couple years later wonder why their kid is entitled and demanding. Duh.
If I called my son "hyper" he'd have an excuse to be exactly that. Instead I call him what he is, three years old, and expect him to be active but also learning to be polite and a good listener.

I dont think it means hyper. However my son was very very active in my tummy and he is a very outgoing and active child. Several things i noticed/felt going on inside the womb i notice happening outside the womb too (activity level/hiccups/etc).

No it doesn't mean that at all. Although most kids are kind of hyper to begin with, lol
