Can I start trying to have a baby at 35/36 in 2025?

So my spouse and I decided that we would start trying to conceive in February 2025 after we take a few big international trips. Please do not judge us but we want to travel to far away destinations before we settle. We decided our last one would be January 2025 to go all around Asia and start trying to conceive in February 2025. I will be 26 than and he will be like 39 or so.

Is that too late to start trying? Keep in mind I do not want too many kids, perhaps 1-2 most because I love traveling. Do you think this is normal and ok to start trying at that time?

I think 26 was a typo.  The OP's title says 35/36,  my guess is she meant 36 in the body of the post.

Oh yeah, well my answer still applies that's when I got pregnant and we tried twice during one ovulation window.

So, I had my kids in my late thirties!  My husband is two years older than me. Many women are indeed waiting to conceive until later because of career or life things (like wanting to travel!).  There is no judgement in this choice. There is some evidence that advanced paternal age (as well as maternal advanced age which is deemed to be 35 years or older) can impact some things. There are studies that show that babies born to fathers over forty have a six higher rate of autism. I do have a son that is neuro diverse. Healthy, but has sensory issues. Is this because my husband was over 40 when I conceived? Who knows. He's a great kid. My other is not neurodiverse and he is my younger son. So, live life. And you are very young at 26 to have six.

26 is not late at all. Don't know where this stigma came from. Was 36 when I conceived, gave birth to a healthy baby girl in august, at 37.

No, it's not too late, I had my first one when I was 33 and I have friends who had their first child at 39 and 40.
