DON'T GIVE UP!

Not a question, just  a few word of encouragement. Don't give up. I truly believe that it was the prayers from these women here and my deepest desire of ttc that made my heart's desire come true. Don't give up ladies, I suffered many hertaches, but as of April 27th I saw my desire come full circle. Be blessed, keep the faith, don't let go of your jewel.

I am a prime example as well.  When I had  my first m/c I said, okay no big deal, 1 out of 4 woman miscarry, then I had #2 and again that wasn't a huge deal either, then I had a 3rd and then I went to see an RE, then I had a 4th after that.  I just loved this doctor to death, he was the one that gave me the heart, courage and desire to not give up.  He told me first off that I was his youngest patient in his practice trying to get pregnant.  He made two statements to me and I hope no one gets offended.  He said to me "Don't give up, this will happen for you, you're just not getting a good mature egg.  It's just bad luck"  He also said to me that woman that were in my shoes that still don't have children is because they gave up and that he sees many woman just give up.  With that being said, I kept going and I said to my husband, I might me 45-50 having another child, but I'm not going to let this beat me and that I wasn't going to give up.  My pregnancy was a struggle, I had severe, terrible bleeding for 3 months, had emergency surgery with a spinal block, fell twice during my pregnancy, had GD had over 20 ultrasounds and so on (I can go on and on) and just worried like a friend of mine named Amanda (aka adgal).

And I'm happy to say that I have one of the most handsome little fellows out there.  He will be 5 months old on May 30th and he is truely a blessing, I thank the Lord for him everyday.  I was 41 at his delivery, he was born on my birthday.  And it's because I didn't give up and my dream came true as well.

I know a bit about your story, and your words bring tears to my eyes.  They are so true, and they mean so much to me and many others I am sure.  I know that I for one will not give up. Where there is a will there is always a way, although sometimes we need to look "outside the box" a bit.  We are fortunate that we live in a day where we have options that were just not available to our mothers and grandmothers.....IVF, Fertility drugs, surrogacy, adoption, donor eggs, etc.  I have met so many strong women on here that have refused to give up, and had their dream come true.  In fact I have met at least one person here that has successfully pursued each of the options I mentioned.  It gives me hope and continues to give me strength.  I appreciate everyone who has been willing to share their story!!!

I honestly want to believe that too!!!! I really do but sometimes I feel like it's hopeless. Congratulations on your dream come true...my 20 yr old son was born on April 27th as well...it was a wonderful day. One I wish would come back again for me. Maybe that is my sign not to give up. You didn't and now you have your baby!! Thanks for the words...it really makes a difference from all of you ladies!
