Some people just dont dialate and/or efface. It truly is when the baby and your body are ready. Example, I am 39 1/2 weeks and dialted 2 cm and 60% effaced..however, I've been like this for two weeks now and even had a membrane sweep and still will probably stay the same and go overdue..and I am very active and walk 5-6 miles everyday, have sex, etc.. Everyone's body is different..but you are still only 36+ weeks..so give it time..you could dialte within the next week or two.. dialation and effacement even happens overnight..so it eeally is just a guessing game..good luck mommy:)

Good luck im 39 wks and haven't dilated any, I've tried everything,  I really believe until that baby is rdy its nothing we can do
