Am I still pregnant?

I am in my 17th week and don't feel like I've grown in at least 4 weeks and I haven't gained any weight since my last ob appt 4 weeks ago. Is this normal? I feel like I eat all the time so it doesn't make sense to me. Everything I read says I should have a big belly by now. I have had a missed miscarriage before so it's terrifying to think it could happen again this late in the game. I still have pregnancy symptoms in terms of mild nausea and light headedness, my breasts are still much larger than before and I haven't had any spotting. Am I freaking out for nothing? Our next appt isn't for another ten days.

I agree with the other posters. I am 21 weeks an unless you know me you would not see a pregnant woman.

I was the same with my first child...I never did show with her (went to my last prenatal appointment a few days before my daughter was born and a new girl was being trained to run the front desk. The woman training her said to her "Christine is an OB patient so you need to give her a cup so she can give a urine sample." Trainee gave her a weird look and brought the cup out to me...when I stood up she exclaimed "Oh, you ARE pregnant!" LOL)

With my second child I looked 6 months when I was 3...I got HUGE. Oddly enough...I weighed about the same when I checked in to the hospital to have my son as I did with my daughter...With both children I gained a lot of weight (I was very underweight when I became pregnant) but lost nearly all of it within weeks...it was mostly retained water.

This time I have gained very little weight so far...my waist hasn't grown much but what is there is no longer soft, it is firm :)

I'm 21 weeks and I just now started to gain some weight. I had actually lost 7 lbs in the beginning.  It just takes a while for some of us.

It`s always so worrisome isn`t it.  If you are concerned, you need to call your OB right away.  If for no other reason then peace of mind.  Other then that, all I can say is what happened to me.  I showed at around 12 weeks.  I am very tall and very small boned & thin, so showed early.  Grew grew until about 16 or so weeks, then nothing.  I kinda stayed the same until third trimester then boom!  It`s like I grew a watermelon under my clothes overnight.  One of the things that saved me from worrying about it was my doppler, otherwise I probably would have been demanding to be seen daily..lol.

In early pregnancy much of the weight, etc. is water retention and bloating.  I am not so convinced we really are showing with baby until later simply because baby is not very big yet.  The other thing is that much depends on your body type, weight, etc.

I`m sure all is just fine, but don`t sit and worry. Make that call.  I always say err on the side of caution.
