Ugh. Correction. He went to the same high school as my daughter...not at the same time.
Oh - funny side note...there's a professional soccer player from this area that went to high school with my oldest named Landon Donovan (first and last name).
I like Donovan Landon...but, like Annie, I like traditional spellings. Maybe because I've had to spell my last name a gazillion times in my life (it's a Czech name), I'm sensitive to that. And enjoying the novelty of a non-traditional spelling may wear off by the time your son is an adult...trust me, having your name misspelled ALL THE TIME *****. My first name is Tricia, and I can't tell you how I hate it when my name is misspelled. It's also minor - but has always bothered me - that I can't ever find those name tag thingies with my spelling! LOL. Anyway...just my opinion, of course. Even traditional spellings get messed up. Being sensitive to this, I named my oldest Alexandra. Pretty. Not too common. Easy to spell. Well, all through elementary school people spelled her name Alexandria. Oh well. LOL.
I beleive in my post it was simply said any "D's" and "L's" name suggestion. My son Davyd is 11, and he loves his name he does not have any compliants, actually it fits his peronality. He likes to correct people when they mispell his name. And as you can see I dont like traditional way of do things...very boring to me! I do like Lael, is it boy or girl name? Its close to my name.
I know they are tongue twisters, off course we get their names twisted all the time. But they know who are talking to...lol. yeah I love the names with the letter "Y"in them. Dasyn is cute, sounds like a girl name, huh? Thanks for your name suggestion.
