Anyone struggling w/Plantar Fasciitis while pregnant?

My feet, especially heels, hurt so much after being on them at work. MRI showed Plantar fasciitis but no treatment seems to help:-( Dr says it'll probably be bad til I deliver and hormones go back to normal:-(

Where exactly is your pain?? under the heal or under the sole of your feet?

I started having problems a couple months before getting pregnant. I've tried many creams/inserts. Only thing that seems to be helping is HTP heel cups that I purchased through Amazon. They feel funny at first but with continuous wear, they seem to be helping. I'm on my feet all day at work.

Not sure the dr you went to, but go to an ortho. Most podiatrists don't help (first hand experience ). 2 reconstructive surgeries later I am doing ok.

I had before pregnant. ORTHAHEEL shoes really helped! The pain went away and they are all I wear still! A FOOT ROCKER really helps too it stretches you . Dr. Can recommend physical therapy and they can show you other stretches too. Hope this helps.

Are you wearing a brace when at home and while sleeping? Make sure your shoes are cushioned enough as well, that helped a friend who is standing on hard concrete floors all day. She loves crocs now.

As for me, it was years before becoming pregnant but I opted for minimalist shoes as I wasn't on my feet all day but walking around a good amount since I don't sit still even at a desk job. That helped so much for me. I even run barefoot now haha.

I find immobilizing my foot when I sleep really helps to, so get a brace for it. I also sleep with a pillow under my calves... Helps me but I'm strange.

My son had that like 2 years ago on his heal. He was abt to have surgery to remove it. When a doc told me to try one last thing. I did it and it worked. She told me to put the wart medical the liquid kind. N wrapped his heel with duck tape. All around for 3 days then remove the duck tape and do it again for 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks it was completely gone. He could walk again. She said not to use bandages or other tape just duck tape cuz ir needs to keep all air out.
