Had to have a D&C 7 weeks ago and now im pregnant againe

I had to have a D&C on April 10, 2008 due to a miscarriage. And yesterday May 26, 2008 i took a HPT, because I just felt like I may be pregnant, and it was positive. So I am pregnant 7 weeks after miscarriage and D&C, but I have not had a period or have had no bleeding since April 11, 2008, oh and my husband and I had sex  2 days after the D&C. So I am worried about losing the baby and I am wondering how far along I am.

See your doctor, too.
Sometimes even if you had a D&C, there is leftover pregnancy tissue that might still be producing HCG that can be picked up on a HPT.
So you would need to see your doctor right away to be certain this is a new pregnancy.

I wish you the best of luck!

I am so sorry for your loss.  First off, there is no real reason to be worried about losing this baby.  They usually like you to wait a cycle in between, but when I had my D&C and was told that, my Dr. told me it was mainly for dating purposes.  Only 5% of women will have 2 miscarriages in a row, and there are plenty of women in this forum who were pregnant before there next cycle.  I had a chemical pregnancy in early April and I am now 7W4D pregnant again with no real problems this time.  In that case, they consider the bleeding your period, so thats how we dated it.  In your case, they will have to date by ultrasound.  Its probably a good idea for you to make an appointment with your OB sooner than later.  Congratulations to you, and I wish you well.
