Big Belly
Somemany people have told me that my belly is big for the 23 weeks that I have : ( I'm getting frustrated
Somebody always has to say something stupid! At my baby shower, my mother in law called me chubby in front of my mom & grandmother. I snapped back at her because I'm not chubby, I'm pregnant...duh! Also had a man I've known since I was a very little girl compare my pregnancy shape to his daughter's shape who happen to her baby girl 6 weeks early! His comment was "Haley was never as big as you" my response back was "I'm bigger than her anyway so there's no comparison". I'm 6' 1" & she's maybe 5' 2"......BIG difference! I'm all baby!
I was getting really cross because a lady my mum works with is a week behind me and my mum kept saying how huge I was in comparison. I kept trying to explain it was fluid retention from my complications but she wasn't listening. Anyway, I had surgery last week, and sure as anything all ive heard this week is how this other woman is now huge in comparison to me and how I just look a bit fat now. No pleasing some people! Lol.
Tell people to chew on a flip flop. People usually shut up when I point how exactly how rude their comments are. Would you comment on the size of a woman's belly if she weren't pregnant? No!
