Craving Coctel de Camaron

My sister made Coctel de Camaron    (shrimp cocktail Mexican style) it looked so delicious. It has tomato juice, tomatoes, onions, avacados, lime juice, lil jalapeño and some shrimp.i been wanting it so bad but my other sister  told me I shouldn't eat it.but my older sister said it's was boiled n cooked already. Is it really bad to eat. I want some so bad. Does anyone else eat it n ur were fine? I'm 8 weeks pregnant.

I want some!!! Your fine as long as the shrimp is fully cooked, but limit yourself to a serving. I eat fish still prego, but if I do only one meal a week. I stay away from the fish that are definite no-nos. look up online it'll tell U the fish to no matter what avoid. Tuna, salmon, shrimp are okay (avoid Albacore Tuna).... But look online for a more detailed list.

Its not the shrimp you have to worry about it's fish that's high in mercury you need to watch out for. I have eaten this cocktail  so far 4 times in my pregnancy. Mrs_Smith 4641 enjoy that food

That actually sounds pretty healthy. If it's the shrimp you're worried about, I think you're fine. I've been eating it sparingly throughout my pregnancy and baby is perfectly healthy. I'm currently 33 weeks 4 days. If you're really worried check with your doctor (:
