ahhh, thanks Adgal.  That made me feel so much better. It did go up a lot from the 1st blood test.  I am so glad you told me that, now I can go to sleep.  It is bad enough I toss and turn about other issues, lol.  I sure hope that you will stay on the forum once you have your baby.  You seem to ground me when I get crazy :-) Thanks again and again!

Your also normal.  These HCG numbers can be all over the map, honestly.  Remember my first one was only 33!!  And my little man is perfectly fine.  Increasing steadily is all that matters.  Where your at at any particular time depends on when implantation took place, which is when they start going up.  Dr's will tell you not to put too much stock into your HCG level, that is why the normal range is so large.  I know I sound like a broken record when I say this, but I cannot begin to tell you how many women I have seen come on here (myself included in this) that have worried themselves sick over their HCG levels, and also whether or not they are doubling every 48 hours. Don't do that to yourself. Let your Dr. interpret your test results, and if he is not worried, then you don't need to be either.  In my experience, they are pretty open about telling you if they suspect a problem.  Your just fine hon.   Right now there is nothing to be concerned about.  (((hugs)))

Ok so now I am extremely worried.....My Dr. said that my level was good but it is so much lower then everyone elses.  Mine was 168 and progesterone 17.  The Dr. said they were fine.  Everybody else is so much higher.  The numbers on the charts I saw all said they were normal.  And after reading all these posts I am WORRIED!!!

HCG was 21,000 plus, so they did U/S as I was only 4 weeks, I got worried and started searching and up to 50,000 is normal, but if the doubling time is fast then it might be twins or something dif.

Best wishes, hope everyones numbers have been a comfort and not a let down, are you wishing for twins?

My levels are at 7966 as of yesterday which is 5 weeks from LMP and my RE's office is saying more likely 1 healthy one than multiples.  Good luck to you!!

My HCG was over 48,000 by 7wks. My midwife's only comment was, "This baby is an overachiever!"

;) Not to worry!

Nothing to worry about.  Although high side HCG levels can be one indicator of multiples, it's not a great way to determine it.  The fact that they are rising is an indicator of a healthy pregnancy though, so that's a positive.  I am assuming they booked an ultrasound now?  Good luck!!!

I wouldn't worry too much, mine were about the same at the stage, and there is only 1 in here! If you are older though, you might have more of a chance of multiples. Good luck!
