Today's the day - my first u/s

I'm so excited I can barely stand it!  My bbs were killing me last night and I was up for a few hours; which I am taking to be good signs that things are progressing well. I really hope that we can hear the heartbeat.  It will be such a relief! I know that I won't be completely relaxed about the pregnancy, but it will go a long way to helping!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day today and if you have a second, if you could say a prayer that my u/s goes well, I'd appreciate it!

Oh, that is so awesome!!!!! I am so happy for you!!!!!!!! 151 is an awesome heartbeat, nice and strong!!!!!!!

Here I am! Sorry it took so long...I needed to eat and get a nap before I could come play on the computer ;)

The u/s went great!  The tech used the traditional tummy method and we were able to see the sac, baby and heartbeat right away.  Then he said, let's get a better picture using the t/v and that's when we saw that the baby is right on track (7w3d) and the hb was 151.  I haven't had time to google it, but that's a good hb, right?

He said that everything looked healthy and closed and he'd see me at 20 weeks. (I'm going to see if the OB will scan me again at the first appt on July 8th, just for some peace of mind, but we'll see....)

I'm in shock right now, but for one of the first times, DH is over the moon. I think it's finally become real for him....or at least, more real!

Yay! The big day is here! I know everything will be awesome! And you are going to fall madly in love with that little bean on the screen today!!!!!!!!
