cant find any answers..

So im 6 months pp but i cant find a group to post my question in. Im hoping some of you ladies might know or have some insight. I had an emergency c section and afterwards i had internal bleeding so they cut me back open..well now 6 months later im realizing that i never feel the urge to urinate. I literally have to remind myself to go to the bathroom. I go maybe 2-3 times a day but it isnt much. I measured once after not going for 6 hours and my output was only 200 ml. Im not dehydrated i know that. Sometimes i do have lower back pain but im not sure if that is from the epidural? Im afraid now that from my bladder numbness i got a uti but i couldnt feel it so now its a kidney infection..but i might be crazy, idk. Anyone have any insight or personnal experience? Thank you

It can take a long time for nerves to heal, those nerves are necessary for sensation and control,  but you definitely want to see a doctor to make sure all is healing correctly and in the best way possible! I would consult your OB and possibly the Urologist too if you can. Don't wait!

What I can tell you is to get to your doctor and make them poke around to find out the problem. Kind of doubt it's a kidney infection because I have had one and it is extreme pain. Buckled over, don't want to eat and willingly wanting to go to the er (I have a very high tolerance for pain). Hope all is well with you. Find out as soon add you can!
