Could it be implantation bleeding?

On March 7, 2008 I had a tubal reversal performed. AF arrived as scheduled on 3/22 and was normal. We have been trying to conceive this cycle and according to Fertility Friend, we did a pretty good job at timing our baby dancing. I ovulated on 4/4, therefore I am currently on CD21 and am 7DPO. On 4/9 I started having cramping on both sides in the front pelvic area (around the ovaries) and this continued through yesterday. Late last night the cramps moved to the center (uterus area). In continuing to do my temp and mucus charting, (now this is the TMI part) I have to check my cerv. mucus internally because I don't produce enough to check just by wiping with tissue. When I was checking I noticed I had a light pinkish mucus instead of what is usually white. I am scheduled to see AF on 4/19, so I am wondering if this could be her starting to make her appearance, or if it was maybe implantation bleeding? Can anybody offer me any input or suggestions? I have had 3 healthy prenancys but I was a lot younger and did not pay any attention to all of the signs and symptoms of pregnancy and did not even know that implantation bleeding existed until after my reversal. I tested today, but as I mentioned, today is only 7DPO, therefore it came back (-).

did you take the test soon after AF was due? when is the earliest you can do a home test and get a correct result?

There is no way to tell for sure right now but I can tell you that what I felt was the same exact symptoms as I normally had when getting ready for AF. I did have a small amount of pink discharge just like yours but AF never showed up. I even had the normal cramping, sores breasts, the whole gammett.
I also am much older and also had three other pregnancies (18 yrs since the last). I believe we know our bodies much better and take nothing for granted anymore.
I waited until AF was due and took the test. Everyone was positive and I was stunned to say the least. Needless to say it took almost two years of "not preventing/not trying" before this happened. We were also dealing with a significantly low sperm count so I thought it would never happen.
Good luck and best wishes to you!
