Has anyone been sore...down there?

Not to be weird or anything but I've been feeling like the muscles of my vaginal area are over worked.  I feel like I've had a lot of sex and trust me, that's not it.  =)  My doctor checked me yesterday and there is no dilation.  He told me that it's from the weight of the baby and I'm totally fine with his explanation, I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.  It's as if I were to lay on my back and open and close my legs, the muscles down there are hurting.  I hope I'm not the only one!  Thanks for any feedback.

I can identify and have had the same complaint for over a month. I walk across the floor and I am in so much pain. I am extremely swollen down there that when they checked me this week it was painful. Then I find out I have bacterial Vaginosis which is common in pregnant women, and go to use the gel they gave me and (sorry if this is TMI) I can hardly fit the aplicator up there? I can only hope delivery is soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(im a brownie...hehehe) my skin is turning blackish under my boobs, my 'thinguie' and my armpits!!! it's disgusting! lol ;) not to mention my nice 'skunk' line along my belly.... lol! gotta love it!, honestly i don't mind this changes... it makes me laugh...!!! but i feel a 'little' less sexy for hubby..... ya know. =S hehehe
Yeah, i've felt that! and lately, i swear girl! i stand up from peeing and i feel i'm not done!! so even if i sit back down right away, of course i squeeze only one drop!!!! i feel like i have to pee, i go, and there's very little!!! i also have noticed i'm sort of dehidrated?? like, (sorry TMI!) my pee is too dark??? i had Dr. check for any UTI for he didn't find anything! so i guess it's normal???

I get that way too - I think it is blood flow for me though because it feels like I'm sore in my lips (sorry)   Like too much BD'ing - but I don't think once a week is too much and that is all I can handle these days! poor DH....  I think it is swelling and blood flow in that general area and maybe we are just sensitive to it.  I read Jenny McCarthy's book Belly Laughs a while ago and looked at it again last night - she mentions that in her book - calls it Blue Twinkies - due to coloration changes and swelling in that area.  I don't have a hand mirror to use to check it out myself and I sure as shootin cannot see anywhere near there anymore!!

What about a maternity or belly belt to help?  Reno told me about that last night on the phone and said they're available at babysrus.  Maybe something to check into - you're almost there!

Ahhh.. sounds like that lil one is pressing on some nerve or it could even be that the blood circulation is really apparent down there and is making things swell a bit. Have you done any innocent squats lately? Like bending at the knees and not think about it? The other day I was cleaning and was bending under the bed (or trying to) and the next day man oh man was I ever in pain! OUCH.. felt like I had ran a marathon! And I exercise regularly, but I must have overdone it that day!

Hope you feel better.. the joys of pregnancy right! You don't have long now though =o)
