How close are your babies? did you have Csection or "normal" birth?

I'm curious to know how close your babies are and if you had csections or normal births.

my two are 16 mo apart and Mason is almost 4 1/2mo old. I'm beginning to feel that familiar baby fever but am resisting it. I had csections and my OB will kill me if I get preggo less than 2 yrs apart.....

We use the contraceptive (spermacide) foam and now the gel but it's got a failure rate of up to %25... I'm not willing to go on hormonal BCP anymore and accept that failure rate. We can afford 3 babies if needed definitely.

.... Idk. I'm not willing to TTC at all but if it happens it happens. We're diligent in how we use contraceptives (condoms around fertile times)......

Idk maybe I"m just being wierd right now....

My first 2 are 19 months apart. My 3rd was 3 1/2 years later and this one is 8 years later. All vaginal births. I can't use the pill because it causes migraines, but I had an IUD and it was wonderful.

my first is going to be 12yrs in july by c section
my second is 29months and another c.
this baby is due in june and will be another c, unless conditions were just perfect for a vbac, uh cant see that happening lol.

we used condoms i havent been on the pill for years.  i was never goood about taking them daily anyway.  maybe use foam and condoms?  i dont know what to do next, ive considered having my tubes tied at my c, but i dont know if i can in case something happens to this baby. not that i want another, but to have no choice, i dont know right now.

Try to take the medical advice seriously not to get pregnant again so soon.  Your doctor is not just being opinionated, there is valid science behind that recommendation.  You might want another baby, but you don't want uterine rupture.

Take care,

Annie

I know that everyone is different, but just to let you know, I used an OPK as birth control for about 7 years successfully (one of the saliva microscopes).  It was actually suggested to me by my accupuncturist.  For other medical reasons, I cannot use hormonal or most other contraceptive methods.  I used condoms or abstained during fertile days.  I think if you are being diligent during fertile times, you should be fine.    Good luck!
