The waiting is the worse, and I am so sorry you have to go through this. There are many reasons for this, and the next ultrasound will give you the answers you need. I am so glad you don't have to wait to long for it. Take care and please let us know how you are.
so yesterday i went to the doc. according to my last period, i should be 8 or 9 weeks preg. when she went to do the ultra sound, she said that it didn't look good. all she could find was the sac. we immediately thought i was going to miscarry. then she said, maybe my dates are off and i didn't get preg when i thought i did. maybe i ovulated later and i'm only 4 or 5 weeks preg. (which would explain me not having any symptoms). so i went ahead and let her take my blood. i will go back on thur for another ultra sound to see if there is any growth. anyone had that happen before? i'm trying to hold on to hope--i've had 2 miscarriages before and really don't want that to happen again. my hope is that we are just off on dates. plus, if the baby stopped growing at 4 or 5 weeks, that would be a month ago. shouldn't i have been cramping or something for a miscarriage?
With my miscarriages I always had more symptoms than successful pregs early on!
my singleton I just "knew" there would be no baby on first u/s cause I had no symptoms - I never did get sore breasts - just m/s sometime after 9 weeks
with my twins I did not get bigger or sore breasts!
Thanks--I'll let you know how the appt goes tomorrow. do you really think they'll do an u/s on the first visit? guess i better bring my hubby along just in case. :)
I am pregnant with #4 5years since my last. What a gift!!!! my smytoms are off from my other pregnancys so do not worry. Expect an u/s Enjoy the crazy ride! Keep us posted!
Symptoms are different for every woman and for every pregnancy. Don't worry about that at all. At your first appointment you can definately expect blood work and seeings how you are 9 weeks, an ultrasound I am sure. Congrats on your pregnancy and best of luck to you.
I had no symptoms either till I was about 12 weeks. Every pregnancy is different so do not read too much into other people's symptoms.
Congrats on your bfp!
