what color to paint the nursery

ok so I'm doing pretty in pink sorta theme for Mekaila and Construstion for Jacob......so what color do you think I should pain the room leave it white and just add to it or maybe yellow or what give me some ideas......Mekaila's part I'm doing the bright pink and some pale yellow and butterflies (I got the wallies from Home Interior)  and Jacob's side It's more of the primary yellow red and blue....

yea.. 40moma.. Im the same way.. I yet have posted a picture of even my belly. Isnt it funny how we dont like to take pictures of ourselves pregnant? I have one belly picture of with my dd. and I regreat it now.
so Im trying to get more pictures..lol I just keep telling myself I need a hair cut.. I need my toes done.. all the right reasons...lol and the past few weeks sick and not even getting dressed but my comphy sweats. lol lol over my dead body will anyone take a photo...lol

Yeah we live in a old trailer it's not bad though it's been totally remodeled inside but we bought it til we get a house built.......planned on being out of it in 2 years.....well we're on our third year and still don't have the house build but with a boy and a girl coming we are gonna have to get on the ball.....we're building out of our pocket that way when it's built it's paid for......so it's gonna take a little longer hopefully done in the next year or so.

You know - you're so wise to get everything together, brandi.  Waiting until the last minute bites - I was in a panic until last weekend but feel much better & then I had to wait on dh to get the furniture put together & of course one of the pieces came broken...ugh....

Tennessee - girl, I've got to see a pic of your nursery - I'm trying to get a visual....I live in an 70 year old house & I know what you mean about needing improvements.  I'm going to post pics (hopefully today or tomorrow) of the nursery - I say that everyday - LOL!  Like I said, I'm a horrible procrastinator!

Yeha everyone tells me I need to get stuff done alot earlier with twins so I'm trying that way if I get on bed rest or something I'll already have the majority of it out of the way.


LOL well we made it through the big rain and the river did get out but not like last time so we are still high and dry THANK GOD.......you will have to post pics it sounds cute.

I have changed my colors. started out with pink and the shade I hated so.. had to redo it. lol and girl.. I got one wall green( teil), blue, pink and yellow.. all pastel shades. looks like one big easter egg. even did the closets diffrent colors.. crazy.. but you know turned out super cute.. Ill post pictures when I get it all set up. I know it sounds so wierd.. but you will just have to see it..sorta reminds me of something you would see in a dr seuss book. smile going to do poka dots and butterflys.. I just cant wait till I can get it all done!!! waiting on dh to replace the window!! ugh...16year old house.. needs inprovments... lol..It will all come togather..one day.

I too painted the nursery yellow - kind of this earth toney shade.  I think it works well for a boy or a girl.  I can't believe you're already ahead of the game getting all of your stuff together.  I'm glad you're not like me and waited until the last minute - that causes sooo much stress!

I was thinking maybe pain it yellow and sponge on the white ...I tried it the other way around in my bath room and it didn't show up good....thanks for the tips

I painted my daughters room yellow, but with sponge paint.  Paint the room white, or just a base color, & you get a special roller w/ a design on it.  I love it & it's different.  Good Luck!
